Looks nice, headlights and a 2001 style painter trim.  Lifeline batteries. Proof is in the details.  Just be an aware buyer, make allowances and budgets for what might be needed.  This is a great year, model and length.

Big ticket items are fuel lines, bulkheads, air bags, shocks, tires, batteries, inverter, small compressor and HWH system, the AquaHot, and the lp gas refrig.  Engine valves should have been adjusted at about 125-150K miles. Check service records on al fluids and filters.

Not likely all need attention but might over the next few years.  At this age and miles most are due or should have been done.

Nice staging done. Coach shows well but where are the engine photos? How can anyone travel to see a coach without detailed engine, generator, bulkhead photos? Not saying that there is a problem but I'm reminded about 'beauty is only skin deep."

These are the kind of things I was wondering about. I don't know how to quote or I would lol
We have been to MHOT and are willing to go back. It's a 17 hour drive for us, so before we decide to go I wanted someone else's opinion

We drove from Tucson to see a FT at MOT.  We saw another, liked it, and drove it home.  The Foretravels are a little uncommon, so traveling to see one IS common.

We bought our 1998 U320 in October of last year.  We have had no surprise failures or emergency repairs, but we have done a lot.  We had a small coolant leak at the water pump, and engine manifold exhaust leak,  I replaced the air bags.  I had to replace the Aqua Hot nozzle.  I replaced the insulation in the engine and generator bays - not technical, but a lot of contortion.  Tons of little stuff - cabinet handles and cylinders, some caulking and covers on the roof,  a capacitor in an AC.  I am getting ready to replace the fuel lines.  I have no idea what it would have cost to pay shops for that stuff.

Roger's list is a good one - spend A LOT of time on this forum and get up to speed on those issues.  Even if you use a pro inspector, it makes it easy to UNDERSTAND the issue.

Paint is cosmetic, and arguably the headlights too.  These things are important, but the guts matter more.  I often resent my obligation to keep our paint clean and waxed, but I also sit in a lawn chair and just stare at the coach with love in my eyes.

Looks like a nice coach, if it is what you have been looking for I would be on the phone Monday and put a down payment down on it pending an inspection by Keith risch. It probably won't last long.

Look at picture 39.  Where's the exhaust pipe?
Great eye!! Resonator? Perhaps maintenance is underway? The coach does look nice, very nice. I have it photo 38 but no big deal.

Unless they already took your advice, it may be too late.

When I follow the link on RV Trader page to "View on Dealer's Website" it goes to MOT's page and says "Unit no longer available".

I figured why the exhaust and front step are different.  It's not a Foretravel - it's a Beaver!

If still for sale and interested, look closely at pic 30/42. Looks like fiberglass or aluminum trim edging was roughed up behind pass steer tire. Also, ask about any water leaks around windows or under washer.

Says it's a Foretravel on the coach, listed as a Foretravel, looks like a Foretravel with a beaver sticker on the front

Yup 100% Foretravel from the pictures, but may have had a Beaver previously.  Maybe the owner is into eliciting comments like (remember, this is in Texas) THAT JUST AIN'T RITE.

That one caught our eyes as well. Then it was gone, so I assumed that someone grabbed it. Just checked MOT and it is there. Yes, the Beaver shows up plainly. We'll be there Friday for service and looking, so I'll see what I can find out.

I talked to MOT about this one today. It is a consignment coach, and the transmission decided to misbehave on the way to MOT, so it is headed to a transmission shop soon. Seller will pay for the repairs. We'll see it tomorrow. Price seems reasonable.
