No 12v power to starter or no 120 v power?

no 12v to the gen starter.  i have no power to the control box.  it was working fine until i grounded the gen starter wire.  my guess is there's a fuse or breaker tripped but not sure where to look

Best guess would be in the breaker box on the end of the bed- good luck!

Starter for the genset is 12V, not house 120VAC.

What year coach are we talking about?  (to help figure out if there's a fuse, a resettable 12V breaker)

On a 2003, look at diagram B-2126 in the schematics

Wire B39 goes to the generator starter.

Generator in a coach I have now is different but in the control box on mine there's 4 fuses I had to remove the cover with screws to get to them

Jim, some of the cables have a fuseable link in them, you might do a continuity  test on the cable to see if it is still good

Our coach wiring diagram shows we have an un-fused cable from coach battery positive post directly to generator starter with cable-ID = B39 - 2RD which probably means the cable is red #2 size.

And our Powertech generator wiring diagram shows a starter-mounted integrated solenoid that is activated by a relay in the generator control box. Have you volt-metered the larger cable for voltage? If there is voltage, the problem will be a generator starter control relay. Our diagram shows 3 relays, where one relay has a size 14 brown wire that sends 12 volts to starter solenoid.

Generator uses common relays available at Amazon, etc. How about just replacing relays?

Check behind the white fiberglass panel held on with 3 wing nuts in one of the bays. Some have like a 90 amp breaker that has a red button in the center that you have to push in to reset.

fixed it.  we had a bad ground.    thanks for the ideas all.    we unfortunately have an issue with our living room slide creep.    it doesn't appear to go all the way in.  is it safe to drive if the top is out about 2 inches?  this is not great news because we are in new braunfels at an RV Park

What year coach?  2001 and prior have one slide mechanism, 2002 has another, 2003 and later have yet another.

Can you be more specific, please?  Where and what was the bad ground connection?
