Ride height adjustment rod/ hose 1995 U300

We were driving on the West Virginia turnpike in a thunderstorm last night in our 1995 U300.
All of a sudden heard a whining noise and discovered that the rear passenger tire was rubbing on the wood in the wheel well. Bob discovered that the hose end without the hose clamp had come off .
He managed to get the hose back on, then a little while ago while driving in South Carolina it happened again.
Has anyone ever had this happen?,and is there supposed to be something holding it o
Thanks, Susan

You need to get a new clamp. They are just a common hose clamp.
