Dash A/C voltage drop

When I turn on the dash AC my voltage drops from 13.6 or 14 volts to 12.6 and will drop even more if I leave it on for a few minutes. Voltage reading is on my silver leaf not from a voltmeter reading. I am not sure where to start looking. This is with engine running.
Thanks for any help or ideas.

Could be either a poor connection on the positive side or a ground issue.

Start by tightening all the ground connections up front.

When that happened to me it was the condenser fan that was bad and drawing too much current.
