CB how to use

CB turns on but we do not know how to access channels.
All we get is static.

Which model do you have?,if it's the "stock" one there is a dial for the channels,go to channel 19 and turn the volume up and
adjust the squelch knob until you can hear some truckers.Get the brand and model number and research "how to use a CB radio",probably thousands of videos, and be prepared for alot of cussing and potty mouth language.

Call up channel 19 then use the gain/squelch knob to get rid of the static, then get ready for an incessant flow of drivel. Red license drivers who talk about being professional drivers while they text at highway speeds.
The only time I bother  with it is when interstate traffic slows for no apparent reason, find out which lane is blocked then switch it off when you pass. IMHO.

On mine all the controls are in the Mic. When I got my coach the CB wouldn't
work as the antenna was broken off. Fixed that and now it works. The only thing
that is on is the weather channel far right button. If I push the scan button once
and a while I will hear someone talking. The CB radio isn't used much, at least
up here. The first thing to do is turn the squelch button until there is no static
then push the scan button and it will keep scanning until it finds someone talking.
