New Foretravel Sales

I was at MHSRV outside Fort Worth yesterday getting a friends Cornerstone repaired.  While there wanted to look at the new Foretravels.  They only had 1 FS450 there.  Salesman said that they have already sold the complete 2022 lineup except for 2 units and he did not expect that it would take long to sell those two.

Salesman did not give me that number.  Someone (no idea who told me this or if I just dreamed it up)  told me 3 a week, but have no idea if that is any where close to be correct.

Lyle spoke at the MC BOD meeting last week. He mentioned a new design in the brainstorming phase. 42', undecided name, undecided chassis.

They should be building them faster as they are using Spartan for the base so that has to eliminate many days of production.

I was at FOT last night when a truck arrived with 2 Spartan FS450 cassis. I talked with the driver and he said he has been making 2, or more, deliveries a week with a mix of FS450 and Realm chassis.
If there are any production delays I've heard it is with other components like electronics that are in short supply.
Service bays were full and they are scheduling appointments for January.
Talked with some new Realm owners who said the waited 9 months to take delivery of their new coach.

Sorry Jack, no pics.
They were stacked 2 high on a drop deck trailer. They use a HD wrecker with a rotating boom to unload them.

I did a factory tour yesterday, and they said they are building 45 a year and pushing towards 60.  2023 Show coach for the Tampa show was going down the line.

I was told again last week when I was there that they were not doing tours anymore.  They must have changed their mind.

I was at the factory for training, several times from 97-2000. I may be wrong, but my understanding was about 4 a week. That is all I saw in the chassis shop, or on the line normally.

Yup, At Revcon, which was a very high end coach in the late 70's, we built 3 a day.They also built their own chassis, paint and all.

Interesting, I was told by a couple different people at the factory that they were around 300 during their heyday.
