Wireless side cameras

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with side video cameras? I am picking up my 1996 U295 this weekend. I am going from a 24ft class C and a little nervous with the extra size.

I have a right side mounted camera just ahead of the door. It is not wireless, didn't have much luck with those when I installed my cameras (4) so I went wired, not hard at all to run the wires.

I used Tadi Brothers cameras and monitors.  Great price, selection and service. RVCam is the other popular choice.

I have cameras mounted in the  convex mirrors and they work well. They come on with the turn signals.

I fixed it, I see what I had written didn't make any sense.

I have a cheap wireless rear camera and it works swell.
It likes a solid ground and power along with clear view.
I bought another for the right side blind spot but added a down mirror and like that so far.

I have some below the mirrors. Did they come factory?

Just double your turning radius--you will do fine
we don't have side cameras but I Have 2 rear cameras one looking down on the hitch and the other looking over towed
I can use it when passing to see clearance between vehicles

Brian I have never had side camera on my own rv, however I've driven many with side cameras.  If you update your back up camera with side cameras, make sure they come on when your turn signal is on, a great feature.  Maybe some day for me when my budget allows.

As far as going from a class C to A, I think the A is easier to drive.  You are sitting up higher and can see further down the road ahead.  The visibility is greatly increased.  Making turns, you need to be aware that your rear wheels will cut in closer to a curb, and you may have more of the rear end swinging out into another lane when making turns.  So, just go slow, do not rush, and you will be fine.  Congratulations on your upgrade.

I installed side camera recording system and really fine myself using very every lane change especially right side to eliminate the blade spot. Also has IR infra red for night time. Camera placement is critical to prevent IR reflections of any flat surface. Definitely recommend placing camera at night to test operation before permanently mounting did have good luck with wireless. Mine is hardwired.
