what are the pros and cons of these coaches.
are pre 2005 coaches better?

Pre 2005 were built by a family owned company.  Post 2005 coaches are built by a for-profit company.  Chances are the new owners purchased a reputation.  We purchased a much nicer Foretravel than we thought we could afford partly for the chassis design.  Never underestimate the value of a stiff chassis.  Other motorhomes fail to age gracefully because the house is part of the chassis' stiffness.
