Remodel shops in Nachodoces

Is there a good place to get a remodel done that's more reasonable than Foretravel or MOT?

I have seen some of the remodel's in progress at FOT, someone added a elevator TV in a desk and reworked the cabinetry over the driver and passenger area,  all I can say is wow the reworking of woodwork was excellent, seen some recovered drivers and passenger seats that looked like new. I think you get what you pay for!

With that said if you have the time I would personally check out, Puerto Penasco, MX. Antonio Geraldo's for paint and David Munoz for upholstery seems like there are a lot of happy customer's and you could get a lot of bang for the buck. Plus a trip to Mexico. Before Covid I was scheduled to have Antonio paint a Moreau on the back of our coach.

Steven,

"Reasonable" is a relative term.  I agree with Mike that the remodel shop at FOT does excellent work, especially in the woodworking area. We had a bit of work done there.  In our opinion, the result was worth the not insignificant cost.  Motorcade Club members do get a nice discount.  It all depends on your personal situation and what is important to you.  See link below for a recounting of our time at FOT:

Beside FOT and MOT, the only other Foretravel-centric business I know of in Nacogdoches that does interior remodel work is Infinity.  They did the reupholstery work and the vinyl tile floor installation on our coach, and we were very happy with the result in both cases.  I doubt their prices will be much out of line (above or below) with the other shops in NAC.  In any case doesn't hurt to call and get a ballpark bid.

my experience with INfinity was less than impressive,....but everyone can have a bad day.

MOT and FOT are reasonably comparable, MOT might be a bit less. If you want cabinetry done, FOT is the only way to go - no one else in NAC has those skills to the level of FOT. Upholstery I give the nod to MOT (nd I had a LOT of upholstery work done - mostly at FOT, some at MOT and Infinity). Hard to beat Trina at MOT for upholstery.

I have no personal experience with the work in Puerto Penasco - From what I have seen, It is probably a notch or two below NAC in quality but maybe 33% of the cost and only 2 hours south of the border.....if you dont need extensive cabinet work or flooring work, it might suit your needs.

No one beats Ernie Ekberg here on the forum for flooring installs - not sure how his charge stack up - likely comparable to NAC prices. Ernie recently  had a heart attack and a 5 way bypass, I think he might be at a rehab facility - looks like he is doing great from his Facebook page. Not sure how soon he might be back to work or what his schedule is like after the time off.

My favorite shop is my own. I get exactly what I want. I have to give a shout out to Trina at MOT.  She has done a couple upholstery projects for us with perfect outcomes every time.

Best wishes to Ernie.

I just had a full length wardrobe door made at FOT. They made it off the original drawings and we are very happy. It was ready when I got there and they had it installed perfectly in an hour. I did my own floors. It was a lot of work and took me a long time with many trips to stores and lots of head scratching. Did my upholstery with a local shop and handled the removal and install myself. Big savings and high quality job in North Texas. There are many different ways to do this. Stay within your personal skill set, physical capabilities, time frame, and budget.

I read everyone's response s and I am thankful. I have found FOT to be much more willing to work with me and at much better price.  MOT price was totally unreal, I guess they didn't want the work. I got it done at FOT at a much better price. Thanks for the responses.
