Oasis Hydronic Heat

I have an 08' Nimbus with the Oasis unit. My question is this. Does the thermostat that controls the A/Cs - Heat pumps also control the Oasis. I have no separate thermostat for the Oasis heat that I'm aware of. Tried it for the first time today. Put the thermostat on heat. Had the Oasis on AC. I could not run the burner due to being in indoor storage. The heat pumps ran but there was never any heat or air from the floor vents. I'm wondering if the Oasis unit has a heat switch and will not blow until the fluid is hot enough.

I don't believe the fans and pumps need heat to operated. If you are plugged in
why not put the Oasis on electric and then check it.

That's what I did. I was plugged in and turned on the electric heating elements. There was no air coming from the floor vents. Just out of the overhead vents from the heat pumps/ ACs on the roof.

My main thermostat runs the main room and the bedroom and I have a separate
thermostat for the bathroom area. Your coach is a lot newer than mine so things
may be different. The Oasis is a lot like the Aqua-hot so I would check the cube
relays and see it they are plugged in properly. Rudy will probably check in as he
is the guru on these boilers.

On the older Foretravels with AH. The thermostat control 2 zones. it has four functions, Fan only, AC, Furnace(AH) and heat strip. If I have one zone set to Furnace, The other zone won't allow the AC to come on. I suppose this is to prevent to many amps being drawn.

As your unit is pushing heat out with the heat pump. Perhaps it is a command conflict because of trying to run two differing functions.

The Oasis heater has switches for Diesel burner and Electric element operation.  No floor heat till one or both heat sources are ON.  If outside is below 50, maybe 45 degrees, turn on both, diesel and electric.

Do you have hot water?  If so, the Oasis is on and working.

Now that the heater is warmed up, no interior floor heat till the interior thermostats are set to Furnace.  Having air from the ceiling ducts says the thermostats are NOT set for furnance, Oasis heat.

Thanks. I finally figured out the thermostat has three mode settings. Cool, Heat and Gas. The Gas setting was for the Oasis since I have no LP. Also the fans have aqua stats. Hence the fans don't come on until fluid is hot. With that finally understood. The system works great. Thanks for all the help.
