capping off LP line to refrigertor

Our 13 year Dometic DM2852 died. I found a Magic Chef HMDR1000BE 10 cu ft 120 volt at Home Depot. How do you cap off the LP to the refrigerator? There is a 3/8 in OD copper pipe feeding the burner. Pic attached.  Do I need two fittings? One that screws into the existing one then a cap. Or do they make a one piece screw in fitting with a cap?
Thanks

I am not sure this is the correct size, but something like this is what I believe you need.

And, may be worth tracing down which connection at the manifold in the propane locker feeds it and block it off there, particularly if you don't contemplate ever going back to an absorption refrigerator.

Bob, you can get a plug for the flared end nut at the end of the 3/8" copper line at the refrigerator. Maybe better is to remove the line at the source (regulator) and get a cap to fit over the flared end fitting on the regulator.  The hard part at that end is figuring out which line goes to the refrigerator and which goes to the cooktop.

With the correct plug or cap you shouldn't need pipe dope or tape.  Use a leak solution or soapy water and carefully check for leaks (bubbles). Double check in an hour or so and again the next day.

Ditto all good advice above.  FOT remodel shop used a brass plug on ours (at the fridge end) 7 years ago.  Seems to have worked fine.

If you need to move the old propane line out of the way to make room for new fridge, try not to bend it any more than absolutely necessary.  Too much flexing could cause the copper tube to crack or break.
