Entry Step

This is a following form FB post.

the step does stay out when the coach is parked and no key in the ignition.

My entry step will not come out when the coach engine is on and the front door is open.
Per prev owner the electrical part was changed not long ago .

is there a way to jump the magnetic sensor or override it?

Change the reed switch like I mentioned to you on Facebook and see if it will work.. you can get them on Amazon, easy to change and cheap as chips.

With key on and the system aired up remove one wire from the reed switch and touch it to the other one. That is a temp bypass to see if the step works.

Had the same problem on my coach and it was the reed switch. Just be careful ordering the switch to match the old "normally open/closed" position of your existing switch as a lot of the sellers on Amazon or eBay think that all switches are alike!
