Fuel minder failure

So I had added a fuel minder a year and a half ago and yesterday while parking coach i was leak checking the oil filter and primary fuel filter. I noticed a drop of fuel hanging below the fuel minder and the moment I gently touched it, it failed while the purge pump was activated, was quite the surprise and I will be reaching out to the manufacturer about this, I removed and plugged. I really like the idea of knowing how restricted a filter is so ill seek a gauge with a limit indicator. Glad it happened at home and not on the freeway. I would of never noticed the full loss. But luckily it probably would of shut down do to a air leak.

Glad you caught it when you were right there. You might have notice people trying to flag you down letting you know your coach was on fire.

I had 4 Racor gauges in our Wanderlodge. They were known to leak as they used a vacuum for the gauge. Since then, I watch my exhaust smoke - or my engine performance.
