toilet water level in the bowl

I have it set to 10.
Is there a way to get a higher water level in the toilet bowl?

It's pretty easy to hack it so you have granular control over the water level: Microphor boondocking hack

That said, level 10 should be quite a lot of water. How full is it getting? Does the water run for 10 seconds at level 10? Could also be that the solenoid valve is bad or something is clogged.

Here's my potty $.02:  I discovered by accident that by briskly tapping the flush lever on my Microphor, it just adds water.  Works once or twice before it starts a flush cycle.

Another sure-fire option is to pour a tumbler of water from the sink tap.  That's how I rinse bowl after brushing anyways.

Microphor recommends the water level be set to just cover the top of the flapper to conserve water and also keep the flapper immersed.

Also, maybe just me, but out here in the desert, if it's brown flush it down, if it's yellow let it mellow....another water saving tip learned from my drought years in Okinawa.  A spritz of hydrogen peroxide kills almost all odor.
