Brake Shop in or around Atlanta GA?

This week I had one pad on one rear brake hang up. Brakes got hot and were smoking It is now free, but wanted someone to check it out. Any suggestions on a Brake shop in or around Atlanta to check them out and provide any needed service?

Be sure they are familiar with air disk brakes-- they are different than drum brakes.

You might check with the local fire department-- many fire trucks use the same air disk brakes.

And they will need to remove the calipers to check.  Be sure to have helper springs installed (so have them on hand).

Down in the south we live across the street from a Stephen's Truck Service.

Google suggests: Truck Brake Repair Service In Atlanta Georgia | Elite Truck Repair

Or would you rather hire a mobile truck mechanic to do the work on your property?

Eric, Hearing that pad hang up is mostly caused by not cleaning slide pins, can you share if the slide pins have not been cleaned for a long time?  And if springs have been added to slide pins?

Slide pin cleaning is a lot of work and easy to put off, so we wonder if it will prevent brake pad hang up...  Thanks
