Mirror Adjustment.

Has anyone ever loosened up the mirrors to fold them back in front of the coach for loading on a ferry?  I would like to save 25% to 50% on the ferry cost but not sure about moving the mirrors. Any advise would be appreciated.

Shouldn't be a problem, as long as the bolts aren't frozen. Use the appropriate socket, loosen bolt, move mirror arm, retighten bolt.

Take a sharpie or piece of tape to mark the original position of the mirrors, when you get off the ferry they can be returned easily to their original location.

If you have a few days, spray some PB Blaster penetrating oil on the bolts 2 or 3 times per day for a couple of days then try loosening the bolts. This worked good for me

Keep in mind the mirrors are aluminum and the bolts are steel, just use care and maybe some antisieze on threads after removing...

Use a magic marker and draw a line across the swivel joint so you can reset the mirrors to your original preferred position.

What ferry are you talking about?  They charge  you 25-50% more for the mirrors being out?
