Bio20 Diesel fuel

In my area, Southern California more and more stations are only selling Bio 20 diesel fuel. I know about the engine requirements but does anyone know how this affects the Aquahot or Oasis units.

I have operated our 1995 Cummins M11 and our Aqua-Hot on various blends up to B20 for several years with zero problems. Based upon my experience don't be afraid to use it.

I agree except for fuel storage, because it is not a 100 % Petroleum product it will get rotten eventually. If you're going to store for long periods of time absolutely apply fuel preservatives.  As Rudy recommends run the aqua hot regularly to help prolong nozzle life. Biodiesel does loosen any deposits. When I replaced the fuel lines I made sure that were rated for biodiesel fuels.

Hoping that Bio 80 comes along and reduces the price .

Because of the air polution, California has a lot of B5 or B20 especially down in the San Joaquin Valley. It makes up a bit for the lack of lubricity in ULSD. We've been using it for years. I don't usually buy California diesel as it's a lot more expensive compared to the best prices in Nevada. Usually, gas and diesel in Nevada are over $1/gal less expensive. Today, it's over $5 here and $3.75 in Nevada on the way down 395 from Reno.

Replaced the generator supply line a few years ago but the rest of the fuel hoses are OEM.
