Radiator hose collapsed

Was back checking the oil and noticed the blue radiator hose at the engine collapsed. The engine was cold so I opened up the radiator cap at the metal tank. A woosh of air sucked in and the hose resumed it's primary state. The over flow tank was too full (it was above the hot line and the engine is cold). Could that be the issue or might there be something else going on?

The picture is after I burped it.

Probably a bad radiator cap

As engine cools some antifreeze should draw back into the engine. Also could be the overflow hose and/or hose ports are plugged.

Close examination of the radiator cap, and maybe a check of the patency* of the hose to the coolant overflow will tell you where the blockage is located.  As the engine cools down the coolant should flow freely back into the radiator.

"the procedure was successful in restoring the patency of the fallopian tubes"
