HWH green travel light does not turn on.

Hi, I pulled the slide in on my 2002 U320. The green travel light does not come on. I ran it out and in a couple times and no green light.
Will the coach drive without the travel light on? If not, how can I fake it out so I can leave the park to head home.
thanks,
Rick

In your manual it will show how to set HWH control box in override. Would be nice to look at lock indicators to see what is at fault for reference. Will need a Phillips screwdriver to remove cover and there is a switch inside, unmarked. Select other position.  Gear select will not shift. Can always try it before you change switch position

There is a 110-220 switch about the size of a dime on the side of control box in your middle bay. It takes a small flat screw drive to turn 1/4 turn to override and get into gear. Good luck

My hwh boxes for the slide are in the curbside bay, in the back right as you look in. There are lights on the right side that will tell you if a slide lock pin is not showing closed.  that sensor is probably your problem.

Have you tried to drive as is?  It maybe that your override switch is already engaged and you don't know it. You can override the hwh lockout if the coach will not go into gear. There is a round, black switch on the side of the hwh box. About a inch in diameter. It is labeled 110/220. It takes a small screwdriver to turn it. I think the 220 position is override.

Make sure the room is really in and locked if you decide to use it.

I have two hwh boxes in the curbside bay. Which one has the override switch?

In ours it is on the front edge of the rear most box.

The larger of the two with no external lights. Six or eight screws in cover. Again your manual will describe exactly. Should have a bunch of wires coming out of one end
Slide pin disable switch?

Does your coach have one slide or two?  Is this the bedroom slide or living room slide?

Good morning,
Well we made it home.
I wanted to thank all who provided information for my slide problem.
As mentioned, my HWH box is the aft one. The by-pass switch was set on 220. I switched it to 110 and it let me go into Drive, just as you guys said.
We listened to the warning bell ding for 300 miles. For once being a little hard of hearing paid off.
Will be calling MOT to speak to Keith about it today. Hopefully, he can fix it as we are headed out again in October.

Observation:
When I brought the slide in, I held the retract button, hoping the red light would go out and the travel light would come on. It would not. Holding the retract did cause a hydraulic leak at the tank. I guess running the pump that long caused the pressure go to too high. Another issue for Keith.

Again, thanks for the help.

Sounds like a pressure switch issue.  When the slide closes, the pressure switch is supposed to stop the pump when the system hits 3000psi if memory serves.  If that doesn't happen, the pump continues to run and build excess pressure.

Was this your bedroom slide or living room slide?  I believe the 2002 used the train system for the living room slide, which has locking pins, but did not use the locking pins on the bedroom slide, if it's like Fourdayoff's coach 02 U295.

It's pretty easy to lift the dash cover and unplug the dinger.

I installed an on/off switch for the dinger in one of the unused slots left of the steering wheel.

All it takes is a compatible switch (FOT) and a couple of 12"-18" jumper wires with the correct spade connectors. It has proven very, very useful.

Keith doesn't work at MOT anymore. He had his own shop now.
