Microphor LF-229 Removed

I just removed our Microphor and will change out to a Dometic 320. It works just fine. I replaced the vacuum breaker in 2016 and installed a new timer and limit switch in 2018. Also replaced the flapper gasket, and think I have a spare.
If someone is seriously interested, PM me, and let's discuss the nitty gritty.
I imagine shipping will be an issue.

Glenn, when you purchase the new 320, add one or two "Spring Cartridges" as spares.  Changed mine this week.  When they break, you just lift the foot lever to close toilet till you replace cartridge.  Takes 5 to 10 minutes with toilet in place.  Really like my 320

We have this bathroom arrangement and have had difficulty finding a toilet that would fit in the space, due to the short distance from the anchor bolts to the back cabinet.  The Dometic 320 specs showed 11" - I would not have the clearance (from memory, I believe I only have about 7-8" from cabinet to center of hole).

You are correct. Scott ( dsd) did a great write up on the Forum about changing Microphor to Dometic. I followed that post, and reread it a few times. I was apprehensive, at first, about bending the ABS downpipe, but decided to give it a try. We wanted to pull out the ceramic tile and replace it with vinyl, anyway, so I demo's the tile and toilet yesterday. I should get the toilet tomorrow, but want to add an underlayment for the floor first. I am taking photos, but it is the same coach as Scott's. With the Oatey offset, and bending the pipe, the rest should be fairly strait forward.
I hope

There are those that like 'em
I never understood why Foretravel went with an electric toilet. I know they cost a bundle and were top of the line for Motorhomes and boats.
When we got the coach, there was Mullaney to get parts and support from. John"s prices were on the moon, but he was on the phone with me for a very long time, walking me through the installation of the new timer and such.
When I learned that they were closing the business, and that the new outlet wasn't customer friendly with old units, I had to reconsider.
The unit is too low for me. We winter in Mexico, so getting parts , if needed, would be very difficult.
So, I will say "adios" to the Microphor, and see if anyone out there wants it or wants to part it out.
