HWH circuit boards.

Been trying to getmy HWH worling before i have to drive 2000 miles to texas in nanual mode. Called HWH. 3 weeks later they called LM on friday. Called this morning back on rhe waiting list. Need to leave for TX next week. Probably takes 3+ weeks to get board repaired. Wish i could have sent them the boards 3 weeks ago. What a screwed up system. Oh well. Manual mode to TX

When I finally got the RMA for a part that was bad, I was surprised how fast they got the part rebuilt and back to me.

Not sure where you are coming from but you can also take the coach to HWH.  From what I have been told it is easier to get your coach in line at the factory then to get a return phone call.

I do not know for sure, but I am guessing that the reason that Spartan Chassis / Foretravel went with a different vendor was the trouble getting service from HWH.

I really am disappointed.
Waiting almost three weeks for a call back. They called at 2pm pdt. Friday.
Couldnt call them back because it was too late. Called first thing monday morning. I am back in some que.
Really poor.
When trying to go into travel mode the right side lifts. But not the left. Took out travel fuse and i can raise any and all. Has to be the board. Wanted to return it for repair 4 weeks ago, but, gotta wait three weeks to talk to somone. If you miss the call, well get back in line. Guess i should have stopped everything an sit 3 weeks by the phone for these people. Going to drive 2k miles to FT in manual mode. They can deal with HWH. Need fuel lines and dash AC fixed as well.

I missed my initial call from the parts dept. too. I called them back and was told the same thing... back to waiting. Got my call the next day, so you aren't back at the end of the line at least. Agreed, it's painful.

It sounds like one of your travel mode solenoids is sticking. Try swapping it with a raise solenoid. Or I can overnight you a recently-rebuilt one if you'll send it back when you're done.

It is also possible that the Mechanical level valve is bad or the rod has come undone.    Go to the  left rear and you should see the device that adjusts your ride height.  It should have two hoses going to it.  There is also a rod that attaches to the frame.  Is that rod attached?  In the 20+ years that I had owned my 1997 I had to replace two of the ride height valves but never had to touch a solenoid valve.  I have not been so luck with my 2014.

If you raise it up manually and it holds with fuse remove this proves your solenoids are closing. Double check your linkage. And verify ride height valve operation, left ride height valve or possibly solenoid not opening. Check for voltage to that solenoid and if you have power swap solenoid to verify operation. If good, ride height valve is bad. If you dont have power go to control panel and find plug for left rear and see if it is powered up. No power, check fuse inside of box. Fuse good you have a bad box possibly

Don't assume Foretravel will have any better luck with HWH. I have been waiting three weeks for a call from HWH about my slide synchronization cylinder. Foretravel told me they have had cylinders on order from HWH since last year, and they're still waiting.

When I was sitting at James desk at FOT he would email HWH with a question and get an answer within a minute or two.  When I would email the guy at HWH that was working on my problem, I would maybe get an answer in a day or two latter.
