Dc controlled ac relay

So under the stove top drawers next to the level sensor is a 6x6 gray electrical box with a DC controlled ac relay. I have no clue what this used for. Any insite would be appreciated.

Scott,

Turn on the electric switch for your A/H electric heating element and see if this activates like ours does.

That's is what it does. I was glueing face board back on before it got broke. Also was the vacuum power plug I never found prior I think from under the fridge. Ends have been wire nutted till just now. Thank you
