Mystery part [Solved!]

We found this piece on the floor beside the driver's seat and have no idea where it came from.

Any ideas?

Throw it in your spare parts box...you'll find a use for it someday.

IIRC, the small table between the front chairs on our U240 had a knob like that you pulled down to release the slide lock so that the table could be pulled out.

BINGO!

Not sure how it made the distance to the driver's seat (I'm not that wild a driver) but that knob definitely came from the table.  It's now back where it should be.

Thanks!  Hive mind!

Hopefully yours is not stripped out like mine. I put it back in several times only to have it laying on the floor again and the table sliding back and forth. It is on the list of random things that need to be fixed. Thought about reaching out to FT and seeing if that part can be purchased but it would prob be much easier to just come up with a different clasp system.
