Lithium batteries

Thinking about going to
Lithium house batteries. I sent a question to Apmeretime about starting the generator from their batteries. Their reply is they don't recommend it.
So the question is any folks the have lithium battery banks had any issues with lithium batteries starting your generator?

I have not had any issues at all. I didn't even consider it being a problem and I only have the 100 amp bms version on my 200 amp batteries.

Doesn't everyone with lithium house batteries start the geny with them.

Lithium might not be great for engine batteries especially if you ran your E batts down a bunch.  Since the alternator may suffer as there charged back up ?

No problem.  I even use the boost switch to start the Cummins 90% of the time with my 6x100aH lifepo house bank.  They just don't want you to spin any starter motor through a single lithium battery.

I'm coming up on a year with two 300 amp Ampier Time batteries. Starts generator fine and also works fine with boost switch.  I wouldn't give it another thought.
