Hella T17 Fog lights

Ok, I know I've seen this topic before but my search fu is not working so well today.

I have the Hella TN17 sealed fog/driving lights on the bottom of the generator cover up front.  What have you done to refit your's to LED or something else?  Thanks!

As one part of my headlight-upgrade project I made a pair of stainless-steel panels to cover the holes where the Hella fog lights were located and then mounted a pair of oval surface-mount LED backup lights in those locations. They work well as daytime running lights (DRLs). They provide improved visibility for other drivers and they seem to be about the same brightness as factory DRLs.

That's interesting. Do you have a link to the light?

Welded up my own mounts. Please note it is a spot/spot light I personally hate the spot/flood lights do to being unfocused. Very much non DOT approved

270 Watts (90pcs*3w) & 27,000 Raw Lumens.  Note 21 amps power usage
Big numbers but the 6k is bluer than I like. I Still prefer projection illumination. The entire product is now about focus IMO. The flood lights are great if your working under them but just light up the particulates in the air for driving. I had never noticed the term "RAW" used with Lumens? If new car manufacturers were seeing great results they all would be using them wouldn't they?

4-5000K and a concentrated spot beam for highway use and roof mounted flood lights for off road/campsite use.
