New Owner

Hello,

After a few years of reading and learning from this site and looking at Foretravels, my wife and I finally purchased one. 2008 Phenix. A buddy of mine (DW did not want any part of the maiden voyage) and I took delivery on the 25th at MOT. After staying in it for a few days and and then driving from TX to MD I realized I have a ton to learn. It's getting better over the last few days as I read more of the manuals and actually use the many features this coach has. Replacing the house batteries may now be a game changer because several problems seem to have fixed themselves. Hopefully I won't have to call MOT for a few days.

I wanted to introduce myself and extend my thanks to all that contribute to this forum and share their knowledge of Foretravels.

Jeff

Welcome to the family. As it looks like you already know there is a good search function where a good number of questions have been asked and answered already.  I know sometime when you search you will not find anything. If this is the case do a post.  Either someone will know the answer, direct you to the correct spot to get the answer or will be able to find some threads that answer your question.

Looks like you already got the signature line figured out.

The only dumb questions are the ones you don't ask.  For every person that asks, there are 10 people who have the same question.

I am so jealous!  I remember the first travels in each of our 3 coaches and what fun we had (and tears, fears, and frustration and head scratching) on all of the maiden voyages.  We lived in our last full time for about 5 years. BEST TIME EVER.  Keep a journal ... I used to log mileage at the beginning of each day, names of funny towns, scenery, and hilarious episodes.  Really fun to look back on. All the best to you!  Tell your wife to ask me anything!

Congratulations on your new coach. I am a new owner as well. I have lurked on the forum for sometime and have been registered for about a year. Obviously I figured out how to reply to your post but can someone tell me how to post one of my own? I've use the search extensively but I'm still going to have many questions if I can only figure out how to post my own questions. Thanks
