Bidet for the coach!

Rainy overcast day here in TN and finally decided to order a electric bidet on Amazon.  I have a Domestic 320 elongated commode and this fit perfectly.  AquaSpace with remote control for $279.  Has water temp, seat temp, blower temp and does not need a gfi as it has a built end one at the end of the cord.  Had to do a little modification on the plumbing hook up as the original 3 way valve they sent will not hook up to the base of the 320 Dometic.  Headed down to Lowe's and purchased a 1/2 inch tee with 3 female 1/2 inch opening and purchased 2 close connectors to allow the line from the bidet to connect  and the line from the supply line to connect.  Threaded the female end into the back of the commode and it works.  I did ordered a 1/2 inch 3 way diverter  from Amazon just in case and it will be here on Saturday.  Pretty happy with this setup, so will most likely stick with the one I purchased at Lowe's.  So, for those of you who are wanting to save some toilet paper and have a clean bottom, this unit will work.
I will never take the place of the real bidet's I had in two homes, but will suffice.  If I had room, I would have installed one in the floor next to the 320, but no go there.  No pun intended.  Next up is tying into the electric under the cabinet floor boards and install a stand alone receptacle out of the way by the door behind the commode.  We have a WTFE coach, so a pass through bath with sliding doors on both ends.  Photo #1 looking down on bidet with lid up, #2 lid closed with nice clean look, #3 brass add on tee for completion and no leaks.

Having had this in now for 2 days, I am very happy with this purchase.  So, if you are looking at a solution for your toilet paper usage, this is possibly the ticket for you.

Chuck, the seat can be turned of just like the light and other items, but don't see this as an issue.  Most likely not more than 2 light bulbs.

They are the best thing ever, in my opinion. Once you have one, you just cannot go back to the previous procedures!.  George Hatfield was the first person I knew who installed one in their coach, years ago. I bought him a mug as a prize for "Outstanding Achievement in the Area of Personal Hygiene in a Motorcoach". It had a daisy on it because he was always "daisy fresh".

The washlets (or bidets) are much better now that we would see 8 or 10 years ago.  Our only issue then was finding one that would match the attachment holes in the bowl of the toilet.

Well done, you!

Carol, most all manufactures list the spacing for the holes, width, depth, etc.  This one fit just like a glove on the 320 Dometic, which I installed a few years ago.  Got rid of that Microphor that was prone to problems.  The 320 is elongated and ADA certified, which makes it so easy to get up or down.  Since we are full time, always looking for more ways to make this coach just like home!

For those considering another similar option....
We installed one of these, non-electric versions, which is one of the best upgrades we have made!

Brondell Bidet Toilet Seat Non-Electric Swash Ecoseat, Fits Elongated...

No special things to note, it runs entirely on the water pump pressure and requires only a splice into the pex.
Unless you really want the heated water & dryer, this is a simple install and a lot cheaper than the electric.

The Brondell has a great following  and they make some really nice bidets.  There electric ones are in the $500 plus range as with Toto.  I just couldn't deal with the cold water.  Of course you could add on a thermobalance valve to solve that issue but would require a little more work than what you had to deal with.  Congrats!
