How to secure a loose electrical plate

I have two electrical plug plates where the little white plastic that the screw goes into broke.
Any ideas on how to secure it now.  I don't think a toggle bolt with a wing nut would work.
 Thanks

You can buy replacement outlets and steal the mounting screws and tabs from the new ones.  FT probably has these.  There are some outlets on the coach that are hidden that you could also steal these from (ie: behind the fridge or TV or under the kitchen drawers where the stove top and washing machine are plugged in).

I would like to keep the plate.  I just need to secure it in the wall.  See attached screw and broken plastic clip.

Thanks

I think I found some of those plastic tabs that you drive the screw through and it swings around and firms up against the wall if that's what you are talking about. The first ones I made out of Acrylic until I got a few from MOT and then I saw some at Home Depot. If you wish to make a couple, it's sort of easy. Get some acrylic, cut it to size and sand it a little. Drill a hole where the screw goes and put it together. Besides the acrylic won't break like those plastic ones.....good luck.

I will try the acrylic first and if that doesn't work, I'm off to Home Depot. That gives me some good ideas.

Thanks
