HWH Level System

If not one thing, it's another!  Our stay at Infinity to get fuel lines replaced ran longer than expected and we departed in a rush to make our appointment at M&G today.  We arrived at M&G about 7:30 last night and tried to level the coach.  When I pressed the level button, all lights on the panel light up and then went off.  I tried again with the same result and the coach does not level.  I will check the slide out later this morning when I can move the coach.  Since it was fine before the fuel line replacement I suspect a wire or connector may have been pulled loose while pulling the fuel lines.  The HWH control panel is in the main storage bay next to the aqua hot access panel so maybe that's a good place to start.  Just wanted to throw these symptom's out there to see if anyone might have a lead for me to follow.  As soon as Monty arrives and gets started on the truck, I will move the coach (I'm parked next to a wall) and start checking for something visible with the wiring.  I have tried the HWH reset with no results.  Thanks in advance for thoughts / ideas.

Check the plug behind the HWH control by the drivers seat

Thanks Frank.  That's the first place I went to.  Plug was ok but noticed a rogue ground wire, green w/gnd lug, laying against the HWH circuit board near the connector.  Removed the ground wire from contact with the HWH board and all is well.  I am so lucky that nothing shorted out and fried the circuit board.  I have no idea where the ground wire came from but obviously at one point was connected to the ground bar so I reconnected it.  I was relieved it was an easy fix as I suspected maybe a wire came loose while they were pulling the new fuel lines and that could have been a bear to find.  Thanks for your response.

I am having the exact same symptoms after a short weekend trip. Got home and pressed the HWH pad and it lights up all the led's but quickly turns back off. I tried the easy stuff, can't get it to work. Will need to start looking for loose wires I guess.

There is a stud on the side of your HWH box that has two white ground wires going to it. The nut that secures them can back off pretty easily. That's the first thing I'd check.

I had what you are describing happen to my HWH system. It turned out to be a surface mounted relay on the main control board. I sent it to HWH and they repaired it quickly and sent it back. Cost was a little more than $100. They also replaced several other components and my touchpad. It is the slightly brown relay in the center of the picture. I used to keep my leveling system on all the time when in storage. I since changed that practice.

Well mine turned out to be really simple. Opened the dash cover, looked down, and the main cable that plugs into the board had popped loose. Plugged it back in and all is well! Feeling very lucky on that one!

That is the ground for both the front and the rear six packs . Nice trouble shooting aid isolating the front from the rear or the other
