Exactly what is wrong?  I when back and readied the thread and people have offered options but we have not heard the results of any of them.  I think the only thing we know is you have some seals leaking. Are you needing a new 21 " sucker fan and if so why, what happened to the one that was there?

It came apart from the hub mounting bracket. The fan as laying beside the radiator. Tried to source from Foretravel, MOT, TO NO AVAIL. NO HELP FROM THEM SOURCING AN ALTERNATIVE SOURCE. That, sir, is a resul, if you want to call it that.
In regards to Rudy's bus- would be almost impossible to salvage it.

As always Google is your Friend.  There are lots of sources out there, but you need the "hub" details.

Here's a site in Australia with lots of photographs.

I contacted Superior turbo in Detroit. Sent them photos with measurements. From their perspective they had stock. I ordered 2. Will be here next week. I will post an update if the new ones are like the original. I'm cautiously optimistic.

To my eyes, that seems like a surprising amount of corrosion and/or decomposition of the metal fan bolt plate...especially on a 2000 year model coach.  I wonder what could have caused it?

We had to beat that plate off the hub. Since owning this coach for 2+ years, kinda hard to know where Roger Berke went. I know I saw him a Quartzite a dozen years ago with this coach

Two disimilar metals making contact and moisture,a coating of anti seize between the 2 will help,if coach was driven on a salty
road it added to the corrosion, worked on offshore platforms for years,we put anti seize on every nut and bolt.

Ernie Im assuming that the hub is still installed on motor shaft. Those motors are time limited for shaft leakage and being you're so close I would hate to see anyone pass on changing the old seals out. Im not saying to rebuild them, just replace the two seals. One seal on each motor but that requires having the hub off the shaft with adequate access to the motor shaft end. Think I'll try and inspect my fan hubs this week before we go to BITD race next month.  Got my fingers crossed you got the right fans. Curiously how many miles on your coach?

Ernie contact Josh Harsany at Superior Turbo he can build you a fan. 313-842-4616 Ext 721  Mine broke a fan blade off last year and it went thru the radiator I sent him all the measurements and he made a fan for my coach. I contacted Foretravel and they were no help at all.

Superior turbo fans arrived last night. I contacted a local mechanic to do the install. He will be here next week. My job is to drain the radiator so we can remove whatever that large pipe is restricting the fan to be mounted.

Don't forget anti-seize on all nuts and bolts plus I would paint all bare metal and /or partialy rusted metal in that area.

Before draining the coolant, VERIFY that the "pipe" is not to the CAC.  If it is, it only contains air!

Yes, if the pipe goes to the radiator itself, and needs to be removed, you will need to drain coolant.  Depending on coolant age and condition, may be a reasonable time to change the coolant as well.

Sounds like he is referring to the transmission cooler.  I know that's in the way on my coach to access the fans/fan motors.

Maybe, but can't picture a "pipe" from transmission to the transmission cooler.

But, easy to verify exactly what it is by where it connects to.

The trans cooler needs to be moved out of the way so the rad needs draining.

For the win. A 10 blade fan replaced the 6 blade. The mechanic was able to install the fan without completely removing the transmission cooler. He was able to move that about 3/4 inch. I started the coach and he put up a piece of construction paper on the outside. The fan sucks a lot of air.
Now, it looks like we are back in business. I have to order a new air conditioner as a tree limb impaled the old one.
It's only money.
