space above drivers head

Does anyone have information on how much room there is between the headliner and the roof above the driver and passenger area towards the front cabinet.
I would like to "sink" some Anthony Gallo speakers there but require some room to install them.

I am going to guess 2". If you have a roof mount antenna, remove the knob and look how how long the shaft is.

Plus that area is full of insulation,we put some decent component speakers where the original ones were.
