water pump hesitation

Haven't started trouble shooting,  wondering if this issue has happened to anyone else. When water is turned on there is a pause before water comes out. Not a big issue but pauses long enough to not fill toilet.

If you have a pressure loss somewhere (ie. leaking faucet or toilet valve) it takes a second to build back up the pressure and prime the lines. Could be the issue?

No, I can hear the pump when it comes on. When I open a faucet there is a pause then the pump comes on and there is instant water. I have turned the pump off and hours later the pressure is still in the water lines. I suspect that it is the pressure switch that is causing the problem but haven't had time to check it out.

Chuck,

Which water pump do you have?
Are you using a pressure tank? If so the diaphragm could have failed.

No tank I will get the pump number when I do the trouble shooting. The Pump is one I replaced when I bought the coach and went with the same number pump that did not want an accumulator.

If that pump is one that don't require a pressure tank you need to look at the pressure switch on the pump. It most likely is not recognizing that the pressure is dropping and may need replacing.
