Refrigerators [Cooling issue, LG residential model]

I replaced the original refrigerator/freezer in my 2001 Foretravel U320 in 2016 with an LG three-door
residential refrigerator at Foretravel. Now it is not cooling properly - 50 degrees on top and 30 on bottom.
I replaced the evaporator fan motor and sensor and it is still doing the same thing. Does anyone have any
suggestions on what I should do next?

Check if your evaporator coils are freezing over. It's symptomatic of that. You'll probably have to remove a plastic panel or two to get to it. It's common for the thermistor or heating coil to go out, preventing it from thawing out and eventually it freezes over and quits doing it's job. There is typically one for the freezer and one for the fridge. Usually both the thermistor and heating coil are easily replaced.

Can you advise the model of the lg fridge you had issues with?  I have been looking  at a 3 door lg model LRMNC1803S and wonder if it is the same as you have.

I just wonder what the actual temp range of a residential unit is. They are after all designed to be in a residence that is consistently maintained at 68-75 24/7. That is not the environment inside a motorhome.  Could the much bigger swings in temps and humidity of a coach lead to issues like this?

I've posted before about my '81 coming from Foretravel with a Whirlpool residential refrigerator. We used it for 18 years boondocking never on a pedestal. It is on it's second refrigerator and still working fine. Had to replace condensate fan twice in the last 10 years as it is always on. Only have the icing of the coils when the fan goes out. We camped from 110 degrees to 30 degrees during our use of it.

My Samsung has the same issue.  If it runs more than about 2 weeks continuously, it will freeze up.  Since it's mostly a weekender for me, I turn it on before a trip and unload and shut it offer after, so this rarely happens.  I'm only in it for 2-3 weeks straight once a year normally, and I'll have to pull the inner panel and hit the coils with a hair dryer.

I go with Elliot and check your freezer coils. I have had that problem at home and it was the
thermistor an easy fix. Jerry my fridge works perfectly all the time. It is insulated from the outside
so it only deals with the inside temperature. The coldest I have boondock is -5 F and the warmest
is 90 F. The nice things about compressor type fridges is the work fine when not level.
