Microphor odor

After 5 years of ownership and full-timing, I guess you can still learn new stuff about your Foretravel.

Stepped out of the shower the other day and the bath area stunk like a sewer treatment plant.  Isolated the source to the toilet area (which I try to always keep spick-and-span...and it was).

There's an overflow/vent port on the left rear of the Microphor bowl, connected to the drain pipe with a hose.  There is a gas trap dip in the pipe and over the years the water in there evaporated, allowing sewer gas to enter the bowl/coach...exacerbated by having the exhaust fan on.

Simple fix...poured some water down the vent port to re-establish the vapor lock and no more DOWISETREPLA smell!!!  Will add that step to my annual service checklist!  :D
