Re: Purple wires behind fridge?

I have the same year, length and floorplan. I replaced the old Dometic RM4804 with a residential frig. I don't recall any purple wires. Might be added by a former owner.
The old Dometic was a premium 3 way unit. Going down the road it used 12 volts (ignition power). When you shut off the engine it assumed you might be fueling up so it didn't switch to propane for 30 minutes. It had a built in 120VAC ice maker with the compressor in the bottom of the unit. The ice maker had an on/off switch on the front panel and had a separate outlet that was on the original Traytronics inverter.
If I recall it set the priority for power:
1) 20VAC,
2) 12 volt
3) propane
I had mixed feelings about replacing it but with the new solar and inverter technologies and the extra space it made sense to go residential; plus it seemed to be at it end of life and struggled to keep cool.
