Software for Allison 3060

Trying to get someone from Allison to give me some hints/help on getting my Allison to shift at correct speed from 5 to 6. The go between I have in Dallas ask if I have the software to pair up the new TPS with the transmission. Does anyone know rip about the software they are asking about? Trying to keep this thing out of an Allison shop that could easily put in a lot of time and no promise of results. I did just that my last trip in the shop with a series 60. Already have a pillow case full of money in this project and simply want to try all I can here before making the shop trip. It's not like I'm asking for a complete handout from Allison as I did buy some pricey parts from them. Asking now about software.

Well you buy the software or take it to an Allison dealer and get them under the hood. Sort of already suspected that. This may be a new normal on my shifting and I despise compromise in performance but I'm about to reach just that.

Dub  I had asked some questions in your previous post about the 5-6 shift and I don't think I have seen an answerer.

I am trying to figure out why the transmission is doing the 5-6 shift when you turn the cruise on. I know there was a tie from the king air to the transmission before but I thought you removed that to go to the new tps with your new air throttle.  You also said you can do adjustments with the linkage arm.  Can you take a picture of that arm or give us a link or something to go by so we can see what you are talking about.

JOR mentioned to disconnect King Cruise cable from linkage and see how it shifts. If that did work then I'm left without cruise and that's an issue I don't need. I'm working on pictures but the angle isn't the best.

Having trouble getting pictures moved, until the girl returns next week about the best I can do is text the pictures. If you want to pm a number to text to I can but if not I understand that.

When I closed my truck shop I sold some engine software that may include Allison Software. Sent a message to the fellow and if it includes Allison it may help.
