Back up camera inoperative

Our back up monitor decided not to work today. The screen lights up but there is no picture. These were the monitors MOT installed when the originals quit working.
The wiring connections under the dash and at the rear are all tight.
Do I just assume the camera is shot?
Any help appreciated

Make sure if there is more than one input on your monitor the correct one is selected. Make sure the camera is getting power. Maybe something came loose, or a fuse is blown that provides power.

Mine does that when the camera ground screw comes loose . Small ground screw right in front of the camera.  Maybe the center marker light ground also .
