High Volts AC [error on Magnum inverter panel]

We are boondocking running generator
What does High Bolt AC with red light mean???!!!???

See the Magnum trouble shooting guide linked below.  I also linked a discussion thread from the IRV2 forum.  Seems this red light can be triggered by several circumstances, and sometimes the exact cause can be hard to pin down.  A quick transient high voltage spike from your AC voltage source (generator or shore power) may be enough to trigger the light, but then difficult to diagnose afterwards.

I would recommend shutting down your generator and try doing a soft reset on the inverter (see link below).  See if the light will go out.  If light goes out, then start up the genny and see if red light reappears.

If running on generator power keeps triggering the fault light, it is possible your generator voltage regulator may be failing.
