Changed out wall lights

I did not like the way the originals stick out. I needed something to cover the holes in the wall from the original light. Threw together a piece of oak I had laying around. Thought it turned out nice and does not stick out that far. Will not hit my head on it when sitting in the chair. Love getting ideas from the Foretravel gurus.

Speaking of these lights. Has anyone put a dimmer on these?
Also has anyone put a dimmer switch (pics if so please) in place of the switch under the side cabinets for the led puck lights?

Thanks Jeff,
I hate to be a copycat, but after the DW saw them, it looks like I may not have a choice ;)
They look really good!

Thanks, Copy away. easy win. That what makes this forum awesome. Hopefully I can contribute a lot more as time goes by.

I just like how they hug the wall better. They are not in way like the old ones were.

I've used the same LED wall units in the 295, and now in my new 320.  In the Cherry interior the wood under the old lamps was lighter.  So I had black steel metal roofing cut, and have glued it to the cherry to cover the old 4 holes and the lighter wood.

Jeff
Would this dimmer fit on the side of the light frame?

I do not think it would fit according to drawing at Amazon. You may be able to mount it in the wall next to the light.

I have added dimmers to the other new wall lights, and chose the button style, that are touch, that also have a blue switch ring, if you like or need a night light on the switch.
