I called Atlas and they are 3-4 months behind, $3400. I'm hoping we can get a recore somewhere in Florida once we pull it if the steel is still good...

Link below to post with contact info for Paul Yasbeck (Leesburg, FL) - he might know a good HD radiator repair shop?

Post also contains link to Foretravel Service Center Referral List - may or may not be helpful.

Dave you might try these folks, they have been around Orlando as long as I can remember. I have had them do work for me over the years from heavy truck and equipment to automotive.

Hello 2002 U270 ISL400 ,Wondering if anyone has unbolted the side tanks and replaced the header gaskets to side tanks. Noticed a small leak from that gasket when cold. Outside of radiator looks fine. Will know more once I remove  was hoping to find new gaskets first. Thanks

Yes, a number of Forum members have gone this route to refurbish a "used" radiator.  The radiator has to come out of the coach to allow access to remove tanks.  Once radiator is removed you have several options, including simply replacing the end tank gaskets, installing a new core or cleaning/repairing the old core, or buying a complete new radiator assembly.  All depends on the condition of the old unit and the size of your checking account.

You could contact Atlas radiator to ask about the correct tank gaskets for your application.  See link in Reply #1.

Use the Forum search tool (top right corner of every page) to search for the term "radiator tank gasket".  You'll get lots of informative hits.

As they say everything goes up-- I replaced the radiator and CAC 3years ago for a total of 3600.00-- IF you are taking radiator out the cac will have to come out, be sure to pressurize it with 10 psi and check for leaks.  Mine had too many leaks to repair
