Cold weather pre check

Heading south from Ohio Thursday or Friday , I'm sure morning temperatures will be below 32degs for several hours when we hit the road are there any specific pre checks other than the normal ones considering the cold temperatures?

Make sure your propane is full,if your going near Millington Tenn.,have 50 amp service and a spot to stay.

The coach engine will appreciate it if you have either run the block heater or engine preheat (if you have an AquaHot).

Depending on the temperatures, don't leave the shore water hose connected overnight (if you need water.)  Fill tank, drain and store hose for the night.

Not an issue for the coach in your profile photo, but if one has a coach with slides and accumulation of frozen precipitation is a possibility, best to keep the slides in.  You don't want to try pulling them in if there's a block of ice/snow creating extra resistance.

Thank you all , leaving all water lines winterized till we get to Nashville with 50 amp site reserved. I installed new block heater this past summer that will tested for the first time in a few days . No slides to worry about on my 1996 U270 propane n fuel top off in November.
My concern leans more towards airline icing just being on the cautious side with having air brakes.

When was the last time you serviced the air dryer (and checked the air tank drains)?

I have personally never serviced air dryer but drain tanks every fall the past 2 years of ownership. Records from previous owner indicate air dryer serviced, brakes n bags n tires all done in last 2 to 5 years. I did have rear axle seal replaced by truck repair shop last summer and had them go over all the big stuff and grease chassis . I do spend a week putting my hands on everything before every trip there is no doubt in my mind that previous owners took a lot of pride in this coach . With the clock sitting at 178000 (we have logged 8 of those) most mechanical failures I read about these coaches having have already been addressed, just hoping they don't start over in 100000 mile increments.

Mine has a label that states "drain daily", if your getting moisture out of the drain your drier needs servicing,if there is no moisture there is nothing to freeze.

Get little mist from valve on bottom of passenger side tank never any moisture from driver side tank valve or main air drain valve in front of rear wheels
