Help Dash air guage reading low

So I have a 01 U320 that I have had for about three years..... the rear guage has always been a little slow, but has always been in the 90-110psi range.
Until today! So all of the gauges do their normal thing with the needles, coach fires right up, front guage is resting at 110 BUT rear air gauge is only at 30psi and will drop to 20 and  coach air "spits" like normal, the bags are normal ride height.
I'm assuming that it is the sending unit (looking for help with location)
Any solid input would be appreciated
AND is it safe to drive?

Pressure sender is located on the air tank itself.  These are known to be short lived.  If you've opened the tank drain valve and it seems as though the tank has full pressure I wouldn't be too worried about driving it until you can get the pressure sender replaced, just keep an eye on the other pressure gauge.  You might also have a problem with the black or blue box that manages the gauges.  When these go bad you may have no choice but to install mechanical air pressure gauges.

Do you have the "driver information center" digital 2-line display mounted to the right of your AC controls on the dash?  If so, you can toggle through the menus to display the two air tank readings.  See if this reading differs from the dash gauges.
