Velvac mirror camera doesnt work for first hour of driving
Started on the road for the spring/summer ahead in Mid Feb and noticed that when I am first starting out, my driver mirror camera does not work for the first hour or so. Then it will suddenly work like normal for the rest of a given drive day. When I stop for the night and start out next day...same thing. Does not work for the first hour.
Guessing perhaps a loose connection. The similar model I see on the Velvac site is over $400 just for the camera. I still need to take it apart to see if it is indeed same.
Anyone replace one of these cameras in the mirror housing before and is there another source less expensive?
