Basler AVC63-4 Gen-set regulator

Just replaced my bad Gen-Set regulator (Basler AVC63-4) on the PowerTech 10KW unit. I have only 96Volts at the meter on my panel.  I see on the back of this regulator there are 3 Potentiometer's. Would these be the way adjust this? Or is a field flash needed?

Tweak the potentiometer. Very small adjustments will make significant changes in the output voltage. Easiest if you have someone watching the voltages while you make changes.

That worked. Ran it no load to 120V. When given a full load it was at 116V.  I don't have a Freq. meter to measure that setting.

You need to set it to 60 cycles or damage may occur.

Of course that begs the question as to how to set the frequency. I take it that is done with the engine rpm? If so, The frequency was right at 60HZ when the tech tested the regulator.

I think the Rpm should be 1800 so if you have a Tach you can set your cycle correctly.

No tach on the gen.  I'm pretty sure I'm fine as the frequency was fine a couple of weeks ago. But I will buy a freq meter, just to verify before I use the gen again.

If you have not tinkered with the governor setting 1800 rpm the cycles will be ok.
