Cat 3208 water pump failed. ??

As I did my preflight for the return from Savannah to home. I had to add one gallon of coolant . Looked under and the crank pully was dripping . Added a teaspoon of stop leak , filled the radiator to the top with the cap looose. Fired it up and switched all of the fans on.
Ran about an hr and topped up another gallon , very little dripping for some reason.
Made it home with one more top up.
The bus has been so good to us.

I've rebuilt that water pump with a kit from Cat. Just need a press for the fan collar. Check depth from end of shaft and press back on the same. Comes with all parts that a rebuilt one comes with.

Thinking about bleeding at the heater core. ??
Good idea crane. The bearing feels fine.
It's possible that the gasket was seeping . Not a lot of tracks on the weep hole.

I will also reinstall the solid fan or a plastic fan for towing the double trailer into the warmer months .
