Air System Problems

 Coach was parked and  manually leveled. Held air for long period and then suddenly dropped right front. Started and aired up fine, manually leveled and all well. Needed to move coach and when coach went to ride height. It dropped right side front and back. I replaced front ride height valve. Thought it fixed. Started coach, bag inflated on right front to 8" shut down thought fixed. Went to drive later and right side wouldn't lift to proper ride height. Foretravel tech suggested six pack. Ordered and installed new. (Real pain in the keister). Checked for leaks, seems good. Won't lift right side to ride height. Now my slide won't retract. Worked fine before. Found major leak in HWH shut off valve to manifold in slide bay. Will try to attach pics. Bubbles in picture are with valve closed. When valve open sounds like a blown hose fitting. Pouring rain and can't work on it now. I suspect this may be affecting slide function. When rain stops will address. Any ideas on ride height issue? I need to get this thing home. Ready to put an ice pick through my ears

Does the travel solenoid on the 6 pack get 12 volts when in travel mode. The ride height valve has to be clocked right to operate correctly. You can take a screwdriver or something similar and when in travel mode if you put it on the solenoid it should be attracted to the solenoid. If not, you probably have a bad coil on the travel solenoid. Let us know what you find while checking it out.

Yep. Backstory to this. I do home improvements and fix shoddy work from homeowners and my favorite saying is some people shouldn't be allowed to have tools in their hands. This applies to me and wrenches. Let's say it was a costly education.

I believe he means rod must be inserted into proper opening to function correctly. My understanding is it's marked by a triangular
 stamp.

Will check but it's a new manifold and solenoid. Only old parts were pressure sensors

So it appears my driver side rear ride height valve may have been the problem. It wasn't releasing air from bags and was holding at 10 or 11 inches. Have it off and 15 minutes from having back together when the sky let loose with a torrential downpour. Looks like it will be a while if not tomorrow. Man, sure lot easier working in the back instead of front. I learned a lot so far

Mark there are several holes where the rod can be inserted into the ride height valve. One will make it raise when you push the rod up and the other will make it lower when you push the rod up.
