AH leaking again - bypass installed for engine coolant loop
Got home from our trip to Nac, having Risch RV install bladders, and found some coolant leaking from the AH overflow. After inspection, I see that the other 90* elbow for the engine coolant loop is now leaking at the inside of the bend, same place the other side leaked from last year. Once again I'll be cutting into the tubing to replace the fittings, although there is less room on this side due to the engine loop pump position.
In the mean time, I've installed a bypass to allow engine coolant to simply reciprocate without going through the AH loop, to keep from losing coolant, but still being able to use the coach. Thought it may be handy for someone else at some point. Using 3 hose pinch pliers, I was able to cut the hoses and install the fitting with barely spilling any coolant. Here's what I bought:
