AC Outlets behind Refrigerator

I have a 95 U240.  I don't think it has an inverter.  It does have two(2) ac outlets behind the refrigerator, one is while and the other is brown.  Why  is there 2 ac outlets(seams to be factory) for a OEM Dometic(which ran on ac, propane, dc power)??  What is the difference brown and white??  I have checked with a meter and the voltage is the same on shore power

If your coach had an inverter (should be able to locate it in the basement), one outlet would be "shore power/generator only" and the other "shore power/generator/inverter".

Do the same check, but with shore power disconnected and generator off.  See if one outlet still has power.  If YES, then you do have an inverter, but not necessarily one which was installed at the factory.

I think Foretravel probably had a standard wiring configuration for all coaches.  The "inverter powered" outlet behind the fridge might be present even if your particular coach did not receive a factory installed inverter.

Does your coach have a "Taytronics Inverter Circuit Selection" panel like the one in the photo below?

2 outlets for the refrigerator is a common install. For the absorption (Propane) refrigerators one outlet is to only have power when coach is connected to shore power or possibly on generator. The 2nd outlet is for the ice maker to be on generator or if equipped inverter. If upgrading to a "Residential" fridge this would be the outlet to use. This separation is done as there is no sensible reason to run the absorption fridge on battery/inverter supplied power. If the fridge does not have a 12-volt option is because the power required is such that it is not practical to run on 12 volts.
