Hex wrench size at ECM connector

Hello, Does anyone know the exact hex wrench size of the M11 ECM harness connectors that are secured with a recessed hex head screw in the center of the connector?

I thought it was a 8mm or 5/16. I dont remember giving it much thought when I removed mine. I'd probably have carried a rack of 1/4" sockets with me and just removed?

5/16 and 8mm is exactly the same size.
