Blinker sound

Is there any way to change or lower the volume of the blinker sound.  It is so loud it is aggravating.
Also, I would hear that sound if i went over a big bump.  But now it beeps when I go over smaller bumps.  And when it sounds in those cases the antenna light on the dash goes off.
I know it seems very strange I don't even have an antenna.

Our '93 U280 uses the Digitron 1300 alarm module to make the noise.  It is actually a tiny little mechanical "speaker" encased in a block of black Bakelite material.  It is easy to find - just turn on the turn signal and follow the noise to the beeper device.  On our coach it is located under the lift-up dash cover, in front of driver position.  It has a so-called "volume adjustment screw" but on ours the screw is more of a ON/OFF switch.  I can turn the noise off completely with the screw, but if I turn the screw to where the noise comes on it only has one volume level: LOUD.  You can see part of the alarm module at the bottom of the photo below.

Your coach, being a newer model, may have a different noise maker.  It may be electronic, and might be part of the instrument panel assembly - I don't know.

With either type of noise maker, you may be getting the "antenna up" alarm from a improperly terminated alarm sensor wire.  There is probably a wire going up to the roof area where the crank-up OTA antenna was originally located.  A prior owner may have removed the antenna along with the magnetic sensor device.  If the sensor wire was not properly insulated on the cut-off end, it may be making an intermittent contact when you go over bumps, causing the alarm to sound.  See wiring diagram below:

If you can find the noise maker in your coach, you could try cutting the "Antenna Up" sensor wire where it attaches to the noise maker.  Hopefully, this would eliminate the false alarm from the non-existent antenna.  As to adjusting the volume, you will need to figure that one out yourself, depending on what type of noise maker you find.

Mine goes off sometimes with the blinker, and sometimes it doesn't.  When it does it is LOUD!

1 but did your coach ever have a crank up antenna? When I removed mine I made sure to remove the switch and isolate the wires to eliminate that function.
2. The blinker horn can be quieter if you muffle the output, some of them are even adjustable. Little electrical tape over the speaker will almost make it silent. BUT this is also used for your parking brake warning an other functions also. Engine faults and low air pressure. I did add a silence rocker switch to shut it off if desired and use it regularly, BUT never drive with it silenced off for safety

The silence switch is a good idea especially if you could have a timer on it so that when you pushed the silence button it would only silence it for a specified time, say one minute or five minutes.  On my coach I taped a cotton ball over the noise maker years ago.  I had to experiment with how much cotton to use to have the alarm audible but not deafening.

I found it (with the help of my grandson).  The picture is attached.
It is the black cylindrical gismo.  Inside the hole is a diaphragm that vibrates creating the irritation noise.
I did muffle it with some cotton and electrical tape.  Just enough to make it bearable.

I had something similar in my 04 and did a similar "muffler" to tone it down a bit.  I did that after a trip where the alarm was activated (non critical),  that beep got my attention but after some time it was really unnerving, thought I would loose my mind !

Wrapped mine in tape until it was the right level/

It wasn't always that clean.  I did some vacuuming in there before I replaced the ignition solenoid with the Blue Sea 9012.
